Featuring API sucker rod pin ends on both sides, the downhole rod anode is molded onto a pony sub. This design allows the rod anode to be placed at nearly any location on the rod string.
The rod anode should be installed at locations where corrosion is prevalent and problematic. The longevity of the anodes will vary based on the level of corrosion, so consider adjusting the number of anodes in a specific location accordingly.
